Creamed Corn

Ingredients

  • 4 Ears of corn
  • 1/2 Pint half-&-half
  • 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 C (1/2 stick) butter cut into 1/4 Tbsp cubes

Directions

  1. Cut corn kernels from cob into a 9”x9” baking pan.
  2. Pour half-&-half over corn.
  3. Sprinkle sugar, then salt, then butter evenly over the mixture.
  4. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes, stirring gently after 15 and 30 minutes.

Serves 4

This freezes very well after it has baked. Simply pull it out of the freezer and microwave until hot for a quick, delicious side.
