Ken Troop, Executive Producer of D&D Insider, on when D&D Insider—which was promised to launch on Friday with D&D 4th Edition, which has been hyped non-stop by Wizards to everyone who would listen since the announcement of 4th Edition last year, and which is pumped in the core rulebooks, including full page ads in the backmatter—will actually be available to use:

I’d say a safe bet is at least a few months from now, probably longer.
