I’m hearing more and more tales of modafinil used off-label. I’m incredibly tempted to find some online.

Get this: it makes you smarter and more alert and the known side-effects are loss of appetite and the potential to reduce the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. It’s use is already reported to be rampant at universities, especially med school where access to prescription pharmaceuticals is a little more ready.

Of course, it’s unknown what the long-term side-effects are or how, exactly, it works. But the worst that’s been reported is a 10-year-old taking it for ADHD treatment developing a bad rash.

Anyone want to talk me down off the ledge? Or better yet, anyone out there currently using it?
