Expelled

On Friday Mark Mathis, an intelligent design supporter, screened a movie he made called Expelled. The theme of the movie is purported to be about how intelligent design supporters are unfairly treated by scientists and prevented from teaching their ideas. He tricked some noted evolutionary biologists and atheists into helping him make the film.

Some of those tricked (and credited and thanked in the movie, it should be noted) attended the screening. Stupidly, Mr. Mathis had one of those—noted and outspoken opponent of creationism PZ Myers—expelled from the screening. Unbelievably he allowed Mr. Myers’s guest to attend: the even more noted and outspoken opponent of creationism Richard Dawkins!

With supporters this incompetent and stupid, intelligent design and creationism should hardly need noted and outspoken critics.
