You Should See These Scary Movies
I’d say at least 10% of the viewing list I’m working through could be put labeled as “horror” or “thriller”.
I don’t consider myself a fan of the genre. But the films listed below are some of the best and most influential films, regardless of genre, ever made. If you haven’t seen these, you really should, especially if you think you know what...

Excitebike Is Coming to the Wii! →
It will have a level editor! If you missed Excitebike on the original NES you missed one of the most fun games of that generation. I’m really looking forward to this.
P.S. If you aren’t watching Nintendo Week on the Wii’s Nintendo Channel you are missing out on some super-cheesy fun.
Homemade Tomato Sauce
Spaghetti and meat sauce is one of those awesome dishes that the United States has taken and made its own. It has become a near universal soul food across the country because it’s quick, easy, delicious, and infinitely personalize-able.

And he can’t rest ‘til he’s next to you.

Time Flies
I just realized that there are only a dozen I haven’t seen of the “102 Movies You Must See Before…” list. I might be able to see them all before the end of the year! Wow.
I’ve been increasingly devoted to crossing each off the list since critic Jim Emerson published it waaay back in 2006.
Here’s a list to show you what starting this list has done to me:

The Nobel Committee’s announcement.
Which One Is Satire?
This?
Or this?
Either way, they’re both pretty funny.
World Famous Chili
We had a chili cookoff at work last week. Out of 8 contestants I took second. The winner, in my opinion, wasn’t really chili. Chili does not contain bell peppers, mushrooms, or corn. Maybe I’m just bitter…
Anyway, my chili was very well received and I received many requests for the recipe. Since I bothered typing it up for the office, why not toss it up here as well?
It was...
